International Action
Moycullen had three player in action in Dublin at the weekend when Ireland
took on Wales at U15 and U16 level. Darragh Mulkerrins U16), Mark Rohan
(U16) and Kyle Cunningham (U15) all got their first caps as the Irish
easily defeated the Welsh. ....Photos

Heartbreak for the Moycullen U'17 boys team in the semi final when despite
a fantastic display full of tremendous effort Belfast Star got the rub
of the green at the end to win by just 3 points. The game was tightly
fought all afternoon and moycullen held a one point lead with 30 seconds
to go. A good defence forced a missed shot but star were first to the
rebound and put it back for the lead. Moycullen still had time to get
a wide open three but the ball bounced out, star collected and knocked
down the free throws to lead by 3. With just seconds left moycullen once
again got open, fired the three ball which cruelly bobbled in then out!
Heartbreak for the lads who represented moycullen superbly this weekend
Moycullen reached the semi final with wins over Swords (58-42), Ballincollig
(56-37), Waterford (46-19) and in the quarter final Templeogue (44-41)

Galway Senior Cup Finals
Moycullen Galway League Team won the Galway Senior Cup, defeating Titans
78-74 in the final which was played in Claregalway.
Moycullen ladies lost by four to Claregalway in the Galway Division One
Ladies final. The game was also played in Claregalway
